Adios Seattle

Leaving my beautiful city in 5 days for Washington D.C., then I will be off to Quito, Ecuador two days after that. Just wanted to practice getting used to writing in a blog, never done this before, but thanks to my more technologically advanced friends I was able to set this up.

I really look forward to hearing from all my friends and family while living in Ecuador. So- send me emails, packages, letters, or better, just come on down to visit! Its not that far!! (I'm not joking.)

Much love to everyone and I'll keep you posted on my whereabouts.

Besos! "Kisses!"

Here you go!! Your patience with the process and hard work are about to be rewarded. I/we are SO PROUD of you and I am so excited for the adventure that you are about to embark, and as we have been discussing for months.... this experience promises to solidify your foundation for a lifetime of opportunities. My advice, and of course I have some, is for you to embrace the adventure of it all. The more challenging the adventure, the more meaningful and memorable will be the chapters you are creating. My love and support are with you, ALWAYS!!!

    Never Ending Love,
    Your Papa

  8. Hello Monkey..
This is your Papa writing on Jeanie's computer. Your Birthday card will be heading your way this week, now that we have an address to send to. Love reading these entries and can't wait to read about your day of watching the running of the bulls through the streets that you told me about last night and more details about your visit to the village of indiginous native people and meeting that woman who had visited Seattle. This is rich stuff for all of us to follow along with you, so please get it down and out to those of us living this adventure vicariously with you via this BLOG.

Can't wait to see you in February

    Never Ending Love,
    Papa

  9. Hi, Mia,
Mrs. Bingham joins me in wishing you a successfull experience with the peace corps. Are you speaking and thinking in Spanish, or are you learning and trying to communicate in a native indiginous dialect? At what altitude are you living? You are close to the equator so the temperature probably depends on your altitude. more so than the time of the year.

We hope you are well and safe, and remember to floss your teeth, tee, hee.

Best wishes, Dr. Mark H. Bingham
