Leaving my beautiful city in 5 days for Washington D.C., then I will be off to Quito, Ecuador two days after that. Just wanted to practice getting used to writing in a blog, never done this before, but thanks to my more technologically advanced friends I was able to set this up.
I really look forward to hearing from all my friends and family while living in Ecuador. So- send me emails, packages, letters, or better, just come on down to visit! Its not that far!! (I'm not joking.)

Are you speaking and thinking in Spanish, or are you learning and trying to communicate in a native indiginous dialect? At what altitude are you living? You are close to the equator so the temperature probably depends on your altitude. more so than the time of the year.

Clara left,Polly leaves Thur and Ben and I off to NY on Fri. I hope all is going well for you. I think of you every day.Today, Polly asked me to do something and I said "I'm busssy" as Mia used to say, when she was VERY little. You may not remember but I do.
